Since becoming a mum to twin boys in summer 2023 I found myself thinking about the world they will grow up into.

I was shocked when I discovered that 85 – 90% of the flowers you see in the supermarket come from all over the world, which has a huge impact on the environment.

I have always had a passion to work with flowers and since 2018 I have been creating flowers for weddings and events.

I realised I wanted to help raise awareness that you can still enjoy beautiful flowers in your home and look after our planet for future generations - and so The British Flower Box was born.

These days life can be so hectic and it's so important that you make time for yourself to enjoy the process of creating something.

I know myself how busy running a home can be with twin boys on the go, but I find working with flowers so therapeutic - their scent, the different varieties and colours it's so good for your mind & soul.

When I'm not up to my eyes in flowers, I'm usually found entertaining our boys, enjoying walks and picnics in the countryside or relaxing in the garden with some fizz.
